Sam Winchester (Padalecki) has done his best to escape his family's eerie history. Putting as much distance as possible between himself and his family, Sam left home right after high school and went away to college. His new life included a beautiful and loving girlfriend and plans to enter law school. Dean, however, took a very different path, following their father into the "family business." When Dean arrived on Sam's doorstep with the news that their father has vanished, Sam had no choice but to put his personal plans on hold and join Dean on the road. After four years apart, the reunited brothers are getting to know one another again, and their familiar sibling rivalries are never far from the surface. Despite the strange childhood they shared, these boys turned out to have very different views of the world. Dean still idolizes his father and, although he often appears cocky and fearless, in reality he is haunted by memories of his mother's violent death. Sam was too young to remember the awful night that their mother died and has never fully accepted the frightening path his father and brother have followed. A mysterious phone message from their father leads the Winchester brothers to a California town plagued by a series of unexplained deaths. They soon come face-to-face with the local legend of a Lady in White--a ghostly and beautiful hitchhiker who wanders country roads by night, luring young men to their doom. Although they don't find their father, Dean and Sam discover his journal and try to decipher his writings for clues that will help them destroy the spirit. Once the job is done, Sam tries to return to college life but finds that the malevolent force that claimed his mother has now taken his girlfriend in the same unthinkable way. Fueled by rage, sorrow and guilt, Sam suddenly understands his father's obsession. Like Dean, Sam is now totally committed to the hunt for answers and, ultimately, for revenge. Bound by tragedy and blood to their dangerous, otherworldly mission, the brothers travel from the Colorado wilderness to the Nebraska farmlands and on to the isolated Wisconsin lakes, encountering creatures that most people believe only exist in folklore, superstition and nightmares: the terrifying Bloody Mary, the brutal Native American beast known as the Wendigo, the man with a hook who haunts lovers' lanes and the dark phantom travelers who portend a violent plane crash. It's the world of Max, a broken world hard to live by, even for a genetically engineered super soldier. Escaping her creators (Manticore), she is trying to find her long lost siblings. She joins Eyes Only, a cyber journalist who tries to make the world a better place. Jensen played the role of 2 transgenics in Dark Angel. As a guest star during the first season, he played Ben (X5-493) in the episode #117 - Pollo Loco. Ben was one of the 12 X5s that escaped shortly before the pulse hit in 2009. He became a serial killer and believed in the Blue Lady. Max had to kill him at the end of the episode. The producers then decided to hire him to play another transgenic for the second season of Dark Angel. For 18 of the 21 episodes, he played Alec (X5-494), a clone or a twin of Ben. Alec was raised in Manticore. Max didn't know of his existence until she was recaptured by Manticore. Thinking at first he was her brother Ben, whom she had killed, she was shocked to find out he was in fact X5-494 and that he was assigned as her breeding partner. Since Max, helped by Zack, Krit and Syl destroyed the Manticore genetic lab, Manticore found an alternative way to "create" the next generation of transgenics: the old fashioned way, hence the breeding partner program. Max refused to obey Manticore's orders to procreate with X5-494 and let him know by kicking him in the gut. She instantly developed a strong dislike for him and named him Alec, cause he was Smart Alec. That scene marked the beginning of numerous quarrels between Max and Alec throughout the season. Max burned Manticore to the ground at the beginning of the second season and tried to free the transgenics locked up in Manticore. The second season dealt, in large part, with transgenics and transhumans out in the world. So Alec tries to learn to live as a free man. At first, he acts like a selfish, egotistic playboy who's only after himself. We gradually learn that there is more to him than meets the eye. Cast for season 2
